New Audi Models: To Lease or to Purchase?
If you really want to own one of today’s luxury cars like Ferrari, Porsche, Maserati, or Audi, you will be given two options, that is, to lease or to purchase. Some find purchasing a little heavy on their budgets but knowing they won’t be burdened with installment rates after they realized it is the best option to take. Those who are really on a tight budget would go for leasing despite finance rates that may apply since they cannot afford to cash right in. As you could see, the answer on to lease or to purchase will basically depend on your current financial standing and preferences. But while purchasing can save you from installment rates did you know that leasing may also offer your advantages that purchasing may not?
For those people who want to drive a new car every two or three years would simply go for the leasing. For instance, at Boardwalk Auto Group, you will find purchasing and leasing options there. According to the Vice President for Boardwalk Auto Group Sales and Marketing, Brian Ongaro, they were honored to be named as DealerRater 2012 Audi Dealer of the Year for Texas.
So going back with your plan to lease one of Audi’s latest models, that is, an Audi 7, leasing can actually save you more money? Why is that? A car’s value can easily depreciate. Each month a new model of car is being released and buying this month’s new model may no longer be practical knowing the following month there will be another new model to compete with your newly bought car. So basically leasing is a lot more practical than purchasing. Besides, you can even trade in your leased car to your dealer or even upgrade your lease to a newer model if you are already near the end of your term. Now, to be fair, here are the reasons why you should not consider a lease.
First, if you frequently drive long miles, then a lease is not practical for you. Most leases will require you to only use a certain mileage limit and exceeding that limit especially for luxury cars like an Audi can cause you bigger penalties, even more higher that your current monthly lease. So when leasing cars, it is very important that you don’t just drive it because you want to showcase your newly leased luxury car. Be mindful of your mileage limits so you don’t end up paying more than you should. What makes purchasing a better option in some cases is when considering the quality of the car. Sometimes bad dealers don’t mind giving you low quality leased cars since you are only leasing. But if you will find a reliable auto dealer, whether you purchase or you lease, you can expect that you will get the same quality car that you truly desire.
As you could seem the choice is for you to make. Whether you want to lease or to purchase your Audi dream car, just make sure you know everything about the car you wish to lease and purchase so you don’t get problems afterwards.
